This year Babaomby offers its big tents in malagasy houses, a significant comfort for the wind and the sun!
The kite and windsurf center is operational with the new 2011 equipment (JP quad, thruster, freestyle-wave, Pryde combat and Ffy2, F One revolt and bandit 4, F One trax, fluid and bamboo)
In program : lessons of kite and and windsurf, renting, down wind supervised by Jerome (instructor IKO) and the malagasy team (Angelo, Abdu, Carlos and Franco)
This year, with the wind which blows more and more at the end of the season we will be opened until December 10th !

Deeply 2010
The 2009 season ended with the arrival of world Kite Surfing champion Kirsty Jones, in late November at Babaomby. Perfect conditions allowed her to send "heavy" for the photographer Richard Boudia and prod Bagus.
A big thank you to the airline, Air Madagascar, the Grand Hotel of Diego Suarez and the Hotel Colbert Antananarivo to make this trip.
We look forward to reporting files, videos and they give you appointment on 1st April 2010 for the reopening of Babaomby Island Lodge!

Kite surf, windsurf and rides in abundance
August already ends...sessions of anthology spent in waves and not even a day without wind in July and in August.Perhaps a bit too much of wind beginning of August !
Not important, we took advantage of this to make beautiful rides on the peninsula of Babaomby.
The season is far from being finished but we already have a great positive balance sheet, you have been brilliant !
A great thank you to all.
Those we met for the first time and you my friends who came very far away from to pay us a visit, coming from : Ireland, Brittany, Belgium, Monaco, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mayotte, the Reunion Island and...the metropolis.
3 more months of good profit in the lagoon and on the waves of the coral reef before the annual closure of the Babaomby Island Lodge at the end of November.

Reopening on March 15th
After a beautiful first season, thanks to you all, windsurfers, kitesurfers or just vacationers! It is already time to think of the next season.
In 2009 and it is a novelty, Loic, our instructor o Kitesurf graduated IKO will be at your disposal to give younitiations or perfection training courses of Kitesurf.
Babaomby Island Lodge will be opened from March 15th till December 30th, 2009.
Then do not wait any more, come to join us! onhe program : sun, wind, waves and aperitifs facing to the lagoon... (on the program :)

A fantastic week...Team F-One on shooting...
A great week just ended with the departure of F-One team which just finished its photos and its videos shooting in the sea of Emerald at Babaomby for their “Kite surfing 2009” catalogue.
The very motivated members of the F-One team took a maximum advantage of the sea of Emerald lagoons’ potential, and all of its sites.
Gilles Calvet (photograph), Fred and Gilles (cameramen), using two boats, a jet ski and a helicopter, shot a lot of stunning photos and videos. We look forward to reviewing all articles on the Kite Surf press.
Many thanks to Raphaël Salles, the boss of F.One to choose Babaomby island for his photoshooting.

Very soon, windsurfing will be possible in the sea of Emerald, Madagascar.
Our small end of paradise in the North of Madagascar will be operational on May 20th. Everything is made so that you can benefit from the most idyllic conditions of windsurfing in the lagoon of the sea of Emerald. The club is located at the edge of the lagoon and the big African tents on piles, fully equipped with comfortable beds, overhang the spot (clean showers and toilets nearby). Our boat " Surfing Spirit " and our sailors Shafi and Victor will be at your disposal for fishing, snorkling and walks in the lagoon... The sea of Emerald means windsurfing for all levels : it is very easy to practice in front of the Club and you can find beautiful waves on the coral reef. Now we are already enjoying all this, so why don't you join us ?
